Every so often we will bombard former camper, faculty or staff members with our pile of 135 questions. We’ll edit down their responses and post them here, picking the best answers. We like to check in with each other every so often and thought you’d enjoy it as well. (btw, wanna make it 136? Let us know if you wanna add some questions and we’ll see what we can do…)

Alexa Cepeda

1. What is your full name?
Alexa Isabel Cepeda

2. Where were you born?
Lafayette, Indiana

12. What’s the first thing you remember about TAP?
First memory-feeling like I was about to be submerged in a world of adults…and how on earth I would survive, lol. But my favorite memory of TAP is singing “Gimme Gimme.” I made a lot of growth that summer.

35. What are you excited for?
Traveling to Spain/Paris this summer!

39. What is one place you would love to visit right now?
I would love to visit TAP camp right now-especially Helm.

62. What are you about to do?
I am about to take my little brother to his tennis lesson, and after I will probably either go for a run, or do my last voice lesson (through a recorder)

65. Which coffee flavor are you?
Toffee Nut Latte

75. Recommend a book/play/musical/poem/movie that has changed your life.
Legally Blonde. Elle was proud of who she was, and is the perfect example of a diva. The novel “Eat, Pray, Love” is amazing as well, once you get past the few two/three chapters.

Red! “it’s the color of confidence!” (Legally Blonde quote) haha

86. Do you do any impressions?
I can do my mom really well – but it’s only funny if you know her. I’ve also been told I do TAP friend impersonations well! Like Jacob, or kathleen.

89. If you could meet any living person, who would it be?
Such a difficult question-I would love to hang out with Bernadette Peters..I love Sandra Bullock too, and Drew Berrymore.

Hermione from Harry Potter. done.

I saw Beauty and the Beast at A&M’s OPUS..where they bring in traveling shows. It was pretty good!

96. What was your favorite TAP activity?
Dodgeball. I don’t care if my team wins (unless it’s for IRON TAP), and I am super shy at throwing and catching balls…but the thrill and adrenaline is amazing. If I had a rough day, (rare at tap, but they happen), or was super tired, it was so great to relieve all that energy into dodging balls..even though I would scream, and in consequecne, not talk for the rest of the night in order to recoup my voice, hahaha.

98. Are you stubborn?
Yes, especially with my parents.

100. Which has been your happiest moment in life?
Any meal with my family where we’ve laughed so hard that it would soon turn into a serious situation because we couldn’t breath. or the encores of TAP. Like “Celebration”, or “Footloose.” Nothing mattered except feeling alive on that stage.

101. If told that this is your last day on earth, how would you spend it?
I would spend it with Kathleen, and my older brother Agustin who is my hero. I would want to kiss every cute boy I saw, and eat fruit popsicles, belt my heart out, and dance to fun music. I love to dance. I would hope that all the people I adore and love already knew that I loved them-but if not, I would just wish on every star I saw that night that they did..because it would be impossible to express all of that love in one day. Impossible.

102. Name one quality that you absolutely adore in your friends.
Their courage to dream, no matter how big or small.

103. What makes you laugh?
My cat when her toungue sticks out.

104. Where do you feel most at home?
